Mississippi High School Basketball - Noxapater can't hold off Ethel

The Ethel Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Noxapater Tigers to 52 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nanih Waiya for a 1A Region 6 contest on Thursday, January 11. Ethel will battle a Warriors team coming off a 51-26 league win over French Camp Academy (French Camp, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 14-2.
The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pisgah (Sandhill, MS). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Pisgah nudged Raleigh (Raleigh, MS), 57-40, in a league contest.
