The Eupora Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host J.Z. George Jaguars to 52 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Philadelphia for a 2A Region 4 contest on Friday, January 12. Eupora will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 52-48 league win over Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-7.
The Jaguars (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Charleston (Charleston, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Charleston edged North Side (Shelby, MS), 34-24, in a league contest.
