Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Everett Crimson Tide (Everett, MA), 46-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Medford upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Lynn English (Lynn, MA) to play the Bulldogs in a Greater Boston bout on Thursday, January 11. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Crimson Tide play the Malden Golden Tornados (Malden, MA) in a Greater Boston bout, on Thursday, January 11. Everett will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
