The Fort Scott Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Pittsburg Dragons to 17 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Field Kindley for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Fort Scott will battle a Golden Tornado team coming off a 44-40 non-league win over Chanute (Chanute, KS). The Golden Tornado record now stands at 3-2.
The Dragons (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Labette County (Altamont, KS). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Labette County was routed by Fort Scott (Fort Scott, KS), 64-47, in a non-league contest.
