The Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) basketball nipped the visiting Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS), 30-23 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cobras (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS). The Blue Waves go into the 3A Region 7 test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Port Gibson got by Jefferson County (Fayette, MS), 53-25, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they host South Pike for a 3A Region 7 test on Friday, January 12.
