Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL), 54-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Glenbrook North upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Spartans host Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL) to clash with the Titans in a Central Suburban - South bout on Friday, January 12. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Glenbrook South won 45-40 in their recent league bout against Evanston (Evanston, IL)

Next up, the Trevians clash with the Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) in a Central Suburban - South bout, on Friday, January 12. New Trier will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 20-0 record after their 70-23 league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, IL).
