The Pine Island Panthers basketball team (Pine Island, MN), was overwhelmed 80-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Goodhue Wildcats (Goodhue, MN)
The Wildcats now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dover-Eyota for a non-league battle on Friday, January 12. Goodhue will battle a Eagles team coming off a 57-49 non-league loss to Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 15-2.
The Panthers (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN). The Awesome Blossoms come into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Blooming Prairie trounced Triton (Dodge Center, MN), 44-40, in a non-league battle.
