Georgia High School Basketball - Model trounces Gordon Central

The Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), 64-24 in Tuesday's league test.
The Blue Devils (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Rockmart (Rockmart, GA). The Yellowjackets go into the AA Region 7 test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Rockmart walloped North Murray (Chatsworth, GA), 60-36, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Dalton Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Gordon Central will encounter a Pumas squad coming off a 58-29 non-league loss to Oakwood Christian (Chickamauga, GA). The Pumas record now stands at 1-12.
