The Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Monahans Loboes (Monahans, TX), 42-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Rangers (8-18) will now prepare for their test against Andrews (Andrews, TX). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region I District 3 test with a 8-16 record. In their last test, Andrews was tipped by Seminole (Seminole, TX), 90-20, in a league test.
The Loboes now own a 2-18 record. They play next when they host Pecos for a 4A Region I District 3 test on Friday, January 12. Monahans will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 45-35 league loss to Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-11.
