Terry Bulldogs (Terry, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Hattiesburg Tigers (Hattiesburg, MS), 41-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Terry upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Jim Hill (Jackson, MS) to play the Tigers in a 6A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 12. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 9-7. Jim Hill lost 63-43 in their recent league bout against Forest Hill (Jackson, MS)

Next up, the Tigers play the Pearl River Central Blue Devils (Carriere, MS) in a 6A Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 12. Hattiesburg will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 49-22 league loss to West Jones (Laurel, MS).
