The Hector Wildcats basketball team (Hector, AR), was overwhelmed 69-21 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, AR)
The Tigers now possess a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westside for a 2A Region 4 battle on Friday, January 12. Mansfield will confront a Rebels team coming off a 62-40 league loss to Lavaca (Lavaca, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 4-16.
The Wildcats (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Lavaca (Lavaca, AR). The Golden Arrows come into the 2A Region 4 battle with a 9-10 record. In their last battle, Lavaca trounced Westside (Coal Hill, AR), 62-40, in a league battle.
