In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Heidelberg Oilers basketball team scored a decisive 60-35 triumph over the Richton Rebels.

In their next game, the Oilers meet the Collins Tigers (Collins, MS) in a 2A Region 8 match, on Friday, January 12. Heidelberg will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 4-14 record after their 46-44 league loss to Mize (Mize, MS).
