In Tuesday's league outing, the Sabine Cardinals (Gladewater, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hughes Springs Mustangs (Hughes Springs, TX), by a margin of 52-8.

The Cardinals (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against White Oak (White Oak, TX). The Roughnecks go into the 3A Region II District 15 outing with a 8-14 record. In their last outing, White Oak was trounced by Gladewater (Gladewater, TX), 66-39, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they host New Diana for a 3A Region II District 15 outing on Friday, January 12. Hughes Springs will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 65-31 league win over Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-14.
