The South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA), 53-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Knights (16-7) will now prepare for their test against Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Golden Tors go into the non-league test with a 10-12 record. In their last test, Sulphur went down by Barbe (Lake Charles, LA), 44-38, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to St. Thomas More for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Iota will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 49-24 league win over Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-11.
