Illinois High School Basketball - ITW David Speer Academy knocked off by Johnson

The Johnson Pumas basketball team scored 47 points and held the host ITW David Speer Academy Pride to 39 in the Pumas league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pumas now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to UIC College Prep for a Noble contest on Tuesday, January 16. Johnson will battle a Firecats team coming off a 78-21 league loss to Butler (Chicago, IL). The Firecats record now stands at 2-9.
The Pride (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Comer (Chicago, IL). The Catamounts enter the Noble contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Comer ran past Pritzker (Chicago, IL), 39-33, in a league contest.
