The Indians/Squaws now possess a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poth for a 3A Region IV District 27 battle on Friday, January 12. Jourdanton will confront a Pirates team coming off a 64-21 league win over Karnes City (Karnes City, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 18-8.

The Cougars (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Poteet (Poteet, TX). The Aggies come into the 3A Region IV District 27 battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Poteet was overwhelmed by Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX), 45-21, in a league battle.
