Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX), 56-45 in a league bout.
With the win, Judson upgrades its record to 21-5 on the season. The Rockets host East Central (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a 6A Region IV District 27 bout on Friday, January 12. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 20-8. East Central won 49-44 in their recent league bout against San Marcos (San Marcos, TX)
Next up, the Unicorns clash with the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 bout, on Friday, January 12. New Braunfels will attempt to upgrade on its 12-15 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 19-8 record after their 64-49 league win over Clemens (Schertz, TX).
