Texas High School Basketball - Keene knocked off by Maypearl

The Maypearl Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Keene Chargers to 43 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West for a 3A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 12. Maypearl will battle a Trojans team coming off a 50-25 league win over Whitney (Whitney, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 21-1.
The Chargers (16-9) will now prepare for their contest against Grandview (Grandview, TX). The Zebras enter the 3A Region III District 17 contest with a 20-5 record. In their last contest, Grandview ran past Clifton (Clifton, TX), 41-35, in a league contest.
