The Lamphere Rams basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Sterling Heights Stallions to 28 in the Rams non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Rams now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fitzgerald for a Macomb Area - Silver contest on Thursday, January 11. Lamphere will battle a Spartans team coming off a 52-23 league win over Mott (Warren, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 6-2.

The Stallions (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Center Line (Center Line, MI). The Panthers come into the Macomb Area - Gold contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Center Line was routed by Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI), 56-18, in a non-league contest.
