Sycamore War Eagles (Pleasant View, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Liberty Creek Wolves (Gallatin, TN), 37-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sycamore upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The War Eagles host Creek Wood (Charlotte, TN) to play the Red Hawks in a 3A District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Red Hawks come into the bout with a record of 9-6.

Next up, the Wolves play the Merrol Hyde Magnet Hawks (Hendersonville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Liberty Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
