The Rangers now possess a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Turner for a 5A Region II District 9 battle on Friday, January 12. Lone Star will confront a Lions team coming off a 50-10 league loss to Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-14.

The Cougars (11-14) will now prepare for their battle against Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines come into the 5A Region II District 9 battle with a 20-6 record. In their last battle, Wakeland trounced Frisco (Frisco, TX), 64-40, in a league battle.
