Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Malakoff Tigers (Malakoff, TX) and the host Palmer Bulldogs (Palmer, TX), saw Malakoff's basketball squad wallop Palmer by a tally of 58-20.
With the victory, Malakoff improves its record to 22-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Kemp (Kemp, TX) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 3A Region III District 18 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Kemp lost 73-45 in their recent league challenge against Rice (Rice, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Blooming Grove Lions (Blooming Grove, TX) in a 3A Region III District 18 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Palmer will attempt to improve on its 7-16 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 37-34 league loss to Eustace (Eustace, TX).
