In Tuesday's league outing, the Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) basketball squad edged the visiting Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR), by a margin of 56-52.
The Patriots (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Searcy (Searcy, AR). The Lions go into the 5A East outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Searcy was tipped by West Memphis (West Memphis, AR), 44-40, in a league outing.
The Raiders now own a 14-4 record. They play next when they host West Memphis for a 5A East outing on Friday, January 12. Nettleton will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 44-40 league win over Searcy (Searcy, AR). The Blue Devils record now stands at 10-6.
