The Purcell Dragons basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Marlow Outlaws to 36 in the Dragons league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Purcell upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Dragons host Lexington (Lexington, OK) to play the Bulldogs in a Grady County bout on Friday, January 12. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Lexington won 55-47 in their recent non-league bout against Roff (Roff, OK)

Next up, the Outlaws play the Washington Warriors (Washington, OK) in a Canadian Valley bout, on Friday, January 12. Marlow will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
