The Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX) basketball nipped the host Rock Hill Blue Hawks (Frisco, TX), 60-53 in Tuesday's league test.

The Broncos (13-9) will now prepare for their test against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region I District 5 test with a 7-15 record. In their last test, Guyer was tipped by McKinney (McKinney, TX), 59-39, in a league test.

The Blue Hawks now own a 10-13 record. They play next when they travel to Braswell for a 6A Region I District 5 test on Friday, January 12. Rock Hill will encounter a Bengals squad coming off a 50-36 league win over Little Elm (Little Elm, TX). The Bengals record now stands at 19-3.
