The Midway Green Wave basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Wartburg Central Bulldogs to 26 in the Green Wave league triumph on Tuesday.

The Green Wave now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harriman for a 1A District 4 contest on Friday, January 12. Midway will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 47-27 non-league win over Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-10.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Grace Christian Academy Rams (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Wartburg Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 46-21 league win over Providence Academy (Johnson City, TN).
