North Yarmouth Academy Panthers (Yarmouth, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME), 45-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Yarmouth Academy upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Panthers host Traip (Kittery, ME) to clash with the Rangers in a C South bout on Thursday, January 11. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Traip lost 53-26 in their recent non-league bout against St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME)

Next up, the Flyers clash with the Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Waynflete will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 60-49 league win over Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME).
