The Rossville Christian Academy Wolves (Rossville, TN) basketball knocked off the visiting Starkville Academy Volunteers (Starkville, MS), 50-36 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolves (21-1) will now prepare for their test against Magnolia Heights (Senatobia, MS). The Chiefs go into the MAIS 5A District 1 test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Magnolia Heights went down by Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS), 53-23, in a league test.
The Volunteers now own a 14-8 record. They play next when they host Heritage Academy for a MAIS 5A District 1 test on Friday, January 12. Starkville Academy will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 35-29 league loss to Bayou Academy (Cleveland, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 10-5.
