Oregon High School Basketball - Sheldon overwhelmed by Willamette

The Willamette Wolverines basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Sheldon Irish to 22 in the Wolverines league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grants Pass for a 6A Southwest contest on Thursday, January 11. Willamette will battle a Cavemen team coming off a 43-29 league win over North Medford (Medford, OR). The Cavemen record now stands at 8-5.
The Irish (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Medford (Medford, OR). The Panthers come into the 6A Southwest contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, South Medford triumphed over Roseburg (Roseburg, OR), 84-14, in a league contest.
