The Trout Lake Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host South Wasco County Redsides to 58 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ione/Arlington for a 1A Big Sky contest on Friday, January 12. Trout Lake will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 40-35 league win over Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler (Mitchell, OR). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-5.

The Redsides (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler (Mitchell, OR). The come into the 1A Big Sky contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler edged Condon (Condon, OR), 44-32, in a league contest.
