Georgia High School Basketball - Villa Rica ripped by Tri-Cities

January 9, 2024: Villa Rica, GA 30180

The Tri-Cities Bulldogs basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Villa Rica Wildcats to 38 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson for a AAAAA Region 5 contest on Friday, January 12. Tri-Cities will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 66-52 league win over Creekside (Fairburn, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-1.

The Wildcats (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Midtown (Atlanta, GA). The Knights enter the AAAAA Region 5 contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Midtown triumphed over Mays (Atlanta, GA), 56-40, in a league contest.
