The Warrenton Warriors basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Yamhill-Carlton Tigers to 25 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverdale for a 3A Coastal Range contest on Thursday, January 11. Warrenton will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 46-39 league loss to Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR). The Mavericks record now stands at 9-5.
The Tigers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Corbett (Corbett, OR). The Cardinals come into the 3A Coastal Range contest with a 13-0 record. In their last contest, Corbett prevailed over Rainier (Rainier, OR), 79-47, in a league contest.
