California High School Basketball - Pleasant Valley nips Foothill

January 9, 2024: Palo Cedro, CA 96073

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) and the host Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA), saw Pleasant Valley's basketball squad hold off Foothill by a tally of 47-41.

With the victory, Pleasant Valley improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Enterprise (Redding, CA) to play the Hornets in a challenge on Friday, January 12. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Enterprise lost 46-26 in their recent league challenge against Chico (Chico, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Foothill will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 39-24 non-league loss to Orland (Orland, CA).
