St. Joseph Knights (Santa Maria, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Atascadero Greyhounds (Atascadero, CA), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights confront the Arroyo Grande Eagles (Arroyo Grande, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 12. St. Joseph will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 2-1 league win over San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA).

The Greyhounds now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arroyo Grande for a challenge on Tuesday, January 16.
