Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA), 65-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Palma upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Oakwood (Morgan Hill, CA) to play the Hawks in a bout on Thursday, January 11. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Oakwood lost 49-37 in their recent league bout against Everett Alvarez (Salinas, CA)

Next up, the Haybalers play the Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Hollister will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record.
