Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL), 48-43 in a league bout.
With the win, Rich Township upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Raptors travel to Crete-Monee (Crete, IL) to play the Warriors in a bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) in a bout, on Friday, January 12. Thornwood will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Kays go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Thornwood (South Holland, IL).
