Washington High School Basketball - Walla Walla Valley Academy can't hold off River View

The River View Panthers basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights to 35 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. River View will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 59-50 non-league loss to Tri-Cities Prep (Pasco, WA). The Coyotes record now stands at 4-7.
The Knights (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Touchet (Touchet, WA). The Redhawks enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Touchet was nudged by Liberty Christian (Richland, WA), 27-10, in a non-league contest.
