Venice Indians (Venice, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sarasota Sailors (Sarasota, FL), 57-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Venice upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Indians travel to North Fort Myers (North Fort Myers, FL) to clash with the Red Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Red Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Sailors clash with the Southeast Seminoles (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Sarasota will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Seminoles go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 57-38 non-league loss to Palmetto (Palmetto, FL).
