Next, the Mustangs confront the Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Homestead will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Firebirds enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA).

The Bruins now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain View for a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza challenge on Thursday, January 11. Santa Clara will confront a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 league win over Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-1.
