The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Scottsboro Wildcats (Scottsboro, AL) and the visiting Arab Knights (Arab, AL), observed Scottsboro's basketball team overcome Arab by a margin of 63-51.

The Wildcats (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison Academy (Madison, AL). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 14-6 record. In their last challenge, Madison Academy defeated Good Hope (Cullman, AL), 76-66, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots (Grant, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Arab will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 50-46 league loss to New Hope (New Hope, AL).
