The Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Liberty Christian Academy Heat to 47 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Cape Fear Academy for a NCISAA Coastal Plain game on Tuesday, January 14. Arendell Parrott Academy will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 65-45 league loss to Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Liberty Christian Academy falls to 9-3 on the campaign. The Heat host John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC) to confront the Saints in a non-league game on Monday, January 13. The Saints go into the game with a record of 7-4. John Paul II Catholic won 44-40 in their recent league game against Epiphany (New Bern, NC)
