The Battle Ground Academy Wildcats basketball team scored 76 points and limited the visiting University School of Nashville Tigers to 56 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia Academy for a Division II-A Middle District 3 game on Tuesday, January 14. Battle Ground Academy will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 47-28 non-league win over Fairview (Fairview, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, University School of Nashville falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Franklin Road Academy (Nashville, TN) to play the Panthers in a Division II-A Middle District 3 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 7-11. Franklin Road Academy won 65-38 in their recent non-league game against Valor College Prep (Nashville, TN)
