Ohio High School Basketball - Bishop Rosecrans nudges Fairfield Christian Academy

January 9, 2025: Zanesville, OH 43701

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Bishop Rosecrans Bishops (Zanesville, OH) and the visiting Fairfield Christian Academy Knights (Lancaster, OH), observed Bishop Rosecrans's basketball team edge Fairfield Christian Academy by a score of 52-50.

The Bishops (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH). The Tornadoes come into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, West Muskingum edged River View (Warsaw, OH), 68-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Miller Falcons (Corning, OH) in a Mid-State - Cardinal challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Fairfield Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 84-66 league win over Wellington School (Columbus, OH).
