In Thursday's league test, the Mae Jemison Jaguars (Huntsville, AL) basketball squad defeated the visiting Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL), by a score of 69-55.
Next, the Jaguars clash with the Lee Generals (Huntsville, AL) in a 6A Area 16 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Mae Jemison will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record.
The Bucks (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Senators come into the non-league test with a 7-16 record. In their last test, Sparkman overcame Bob Jones (Madison, AL), 46-33, in a non-league test.
