The Fort Vancouver Trappers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Castle Rock Rockets to 59 in the Trappers league triumph on Thursday.

The Trappers now have a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Columbia for a 1A Trico game on Saturday, January 11. Fort Vancouver will confront a Bruins team coming off a 87-51 league loss to Seton Catholic (Vancouver, WA). The Bruins record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Castle Rock falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Stevenson (Stevenson, WA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A Trico game on Saturday, January 11. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 2-7. Stevenson lost 87-50 in their recent league game against La Center (La Center, WA)
