The Maple Grove Crimson basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Champlin Park Rebels to 63 in the Crimson league triumph on Thursday.

The Crimson now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Johnson for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11.

With the loss, Champlin Park falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN) to confront the Stars in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Stars go into the game with a record of 2-4. Southwest Christian won 60-54 in their recent non-league game against Jefferson (Bloomington, MN)
