In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Cotter Ramblers basketball team scored a close 68-61 win over the Chatfield Gophers.
The Ramblers (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Wabasha-Kellogg edged LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN), 60-56, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Gophers battle the Houston Hurricanes (Houston, MN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Chatfield will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record.
