In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Christ Episcopal School Wildcats basketball team scored a big 68-24 triumph over the First Baptist Christian Eagles.
The Wildcats (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Independence, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Independence smashed Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA), 76-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Grand Isle Trojans (Grand Isle, LA) in a C District 8 contest, on Friday, January 10. First Baptist Christian will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 59-10 non-league loss to Houma Christian (Houma, LA).
