The City Baptist School Overcomers basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots to 55 in the Overcomers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Overcomers now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Marquette Manor Baptist Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. City Baptist School will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 37-34 non-league loss to Varsity Opponent (, ). The Minutemen record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, HomeSchool Resource Center falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Community Baptist Christian (South Bend, IN) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 6-2. Community Baptist Christian won 58-30 in their recent league game against Grace Baptist Christian (Plymouth, IN)
