The Clarke Central Gladiators basketball squad (Athens, GA), was crushed 72-47 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA)
With the victory, Habersham Central advances its record to 16-2 on the year. The Raiders travel to Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA) to meet the Bulldoggs in a AAAAA Region 8 battle on Friday, January 17. The Bulldoggs enter the battle with a record of 16-2.
The Gladiators now own a 0-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winder-Barrow for a AAAAA Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 14. Clarke Central will meet a Bulldoggs squad coming off a 77-43 league win over Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Bulldoggs record now stands at 16-2.
